In this work, I bring the iconic 'Winged Victory of Samothrace' into a modern, fiery landscape. For me, this sculpture represents the ultimate symbol of triumph. I painted this piece in the midst of a difficult personal legal battle; as I worked, I kept visualizing my own victory, and that deep-seated hope became my primary inspiration. I am captivated by the strength of her silhouette and how it cuts through the chaos of the urban background. I included the phrase 'Victory is for those who refuse to stop fighting' to transform this classical goddess into a contemporary reminder of resilience. Every brushstroke on her wings and the dramatic contrast of the light is meant to evoke the feeling of standing firm amidst a storm.
